Left Virginia around 9:15 after waiting on help to lower the body (always an issue) ,drove through the state and into Maryland within 1 mile of the Delaware border to my hotel,checked in and in my room by 2:15. Currently happy hour while waiting for John Everett to arrive from Maine. Tomorrow,we roll her out and show off the Worlds only Buick-powered Buick funny car...I imagine some minds will be blown. I spoke to John Csordas and he’s got a nice space for us,we’ll meet up with him and others at the host hotel tonight if John is up to it. We are both looking forward to all you Buick peeps...I’ve got plenty of hero cards to hand out.
