    Howdy,

I'm tearing the "skin" off of the nailhead so I can redo its much faded exterior, well when I poped the water log off... there is a gasket, o-ring, something on the nipple that I can only guess is the bypass. Where do I get ones of these as I haven't ordered it and who knows on supply times for gaskets for this motor.

Side question, do I need a special puller to get the PS pump pulley off?

    Thanks,

    Hi Will,
The 0 rings are usually in the gasket sets. Cars probably has them separate. I use 2 of them so they compress each other for a better seal.

Once you get the bolt off the PS pump you can usually wiggle the thing til it comes off. I usually have to use an impact to loosen the thing up.

Unfortunately I started buying gaskets one by one so no set for me and its not worth it to get one that duplicates all that I have really. Should I just buy an O-ring set and play around till I find one that fits?
