    Ours is the early odd-fire V6, but any sky, spcl, lesabre from 64 thru 70 should work. Thanks... wish it were a GN or GS, but it is what it is.

    Prefer a double groove so we can power our AC. Single will do.

    Please help if you can. Willing to pay, say $25, plus shipping... can anybody spare one...?? please contact me --- Sincerely, Chris.... hct@cavtel.net

    Pulley

    Hello again Chris. I thought for sure I had the right one, evidently not. I thought the front of those V6`s and V8`s were the same. Maybe someone else can help.

    1231724 = 1 groove 6 " diameter non AC non HD cooling

    1380956 = AC and HD cooling 2 groove 5 1/2 " diameter

    Appears to me these were used on 225 s and 300 cid engines

    The first pulley appears to have been used for some applications 64-70.

    The second was used at least 64-66.

    Hey, thanks for the part numbers and diameters.

    It helps to know what diameter.

    Also, both MrBuick65 and I have found 6 3/4 " diam water pump pulleys taken from 300 V8's. His is 2 groove, the one I checked was 1 groove. But this size just contacts the lower pulley on my V6. Not sure why we are finding these. Also, I measured 3 times and swear I found a difference of 1/2'' in the center to center distances between the V8 and V6 (from crank to center of water pump shaft). The plot thickens.

    The hunt for the right part continues.

    Thanks again for the replies!

    Chris

    Have located a 2 groove, 5 1/2'' pulley from a La Sabre 300 via the net.

    Am pretty sure this will do it, will know in several days.

    Thanks to all that have helped.
