water in the oil pan

    Hi, guys I have a big question about my motor. First let me being by saying what is going on. is that i started my car up this spring and the temperature started climbing up to 240F. sO I CHECK THE WATER LEVEL IT WAS DOWN SO ADDED 3GALS TO IT. then ran it again still temp go up 240F, bUT THIS TIME HAD FOAM OF OIL AND WATER. CHECK DIP STICK AND Water in the oil. So i called friend to help out. We chek thecompression 125-150psi on the cylinders. At the same time check plugs and no water there.Nothing leaking from outside. The car sat outside all winter. I through i put enough anti-freeze in the motor,but maybe not. HERE. dOES ANYONE HAVE A IDEA WHAT GOING ON? ALL HELP WOULD BE GREAT.     It may be a hole on the timing cover. Does the cooling system hold pressure?:Do No:

    You added 3 gallons? That's like....the whole capacity! You've got a big hole or a crack somewhere...

    First guess is timing cover, second guess is a head gasket. Check your plugs to see if there is a particular plug that's a drastically different color than the rest.

    And drain the water out of your pan before the bearings are gone, unless it's too late already.

    If your compression test is okay but your not holding pressure on the radiator test, sounds like a cracked block. Get a radiator pressure tester asap. Was there a lot of water in the oil? If so, you'd better flush the crank case a few times or it could get worse.
