Well I thought you northerners would like to hear that it was 81* here Saturday. I did a little test-n-tune with the GS. We had an 8-10 mph headwind/crosswind, but I still managed to BARELY drop my best E.T., and I'm getting my 60' where they should be:

    New best E.T. - 10.496 (best mph is 125.xx)
    New Best 60' - 1.436

The DA Saturday was 1800+ ft. I tried several new things Saturday and most helped. With the E.T.'s corrected to sea level, I picked up about .044 from the last trip, even with the head wind.

Now I'm waiting on some "mineshaft" conditions to maybe get into the 10.30's.

All passes were made in legal GS Modified trim. I'll catch up to the pack (9's?) soon.

STORY: On one pass I was lined up with a blown, tubbed, big-block '68 Camaro. Full rollcage, 14"slicks, the whole nine yards. There was a crowd around it while we were waiting. We staged, I launched, and never saw him! I expected him to come around on the big end. Nope. He came over later to look at my car. I asked if he maybe broke something? He said "no, the blowers underdriven alot. It runs 10.60's to 10.80's" Huh??!?

    Have fun. I do!

Jeff...congratulations on the great times...and that is a great story. I just love these Buicks. No one ever expects them to run like they do!
