sometimes yes ... this time i'd have to say no.

if you'll notice, the psycho-bitch was the one sleeping around on him and now she's the one filing. obviously, she's in this to hurt him as much as she can.

Hmmm, let's see now.......my family marraige record:

Mom and Dad, married for 23 years, divorced for 28 years
Sister, lived common law for about 17 years, now separated for 4 years.
Brother #1, married and divorced within one year. (He's remarried now, got it right this time)
Brother #2, married for 8 years, now in divorce process.

Me, watched all this carnage going on, still an unrestricted free agent. and will likely stay that way.

    Bob,
I would have to agree with you on that but I am betting she has gotten herself one heck of a Lawyer and is out to get all she can. This is where the Laws are a little messed up, She runs around on him and he has too give up his Hobby, or I should say set him back a heck of alot. I really do think that if one person commits adultery then they should forfeit what is considered "JOINT PROPERTY" I am sure there two sides of the story but when someone "STEPS OUT" on the other they also step out of the Half of what they think is theirs, IMHO. It is really sad to see two people that onced Loved each other become enemies to the point that one or both are looking too destroy each other. I Guess the old saying "ACT LIKE ADULTS" goes out the window real fast

    Hmm...

2 years ago we bought the Buick. It went in my girlfriend's name, it was her first car in her name. We were together since '97, been living together the whole time. We got married a year ago, and she left about a month later.

She had the Buick in her name, and continued to drive it. Of course, she couldn't even check the oil or radiator fluid herself, so I figured the car was on a short path the the junkyard.

Well luckily, the battery went bad after being not much more than a year old. On top of that, the ground wire wore itself apart, from the battery sliding around. She couldn't start the car anymore without jumper cables and another car, so she parked it.

I asked about the car, and she said I could come get it, if I pay for the gas in it, and the title to be re-issued since she lost hers already. She came to pick me up and I brought my checkbook.

Finally this year I signed it over to myself, since it's been registered in her name up until this May. So for all you that lost your cars in a divorce, I'm glad to say, I actually GAINED a Buick in the divorce!

Of course, we didn't use lawyers, we used a paralegal. $800 total. No kids, house was entirely mine, we split the cars since we each had one in our name. We each kept our own assets, just separate us legally. Fortunately for me she was oogley-eyed in love with some guy, so she didn't want to do anything hurtful, which right or wrong, she could have done.

i think that a large part of the problem is that almost all children nowadays are 'intentionally' raised to defer responsibility as long as possible. can't tell you how many high schoolers i've talked to over the years who think that the purpose of college is try drugs, drink beer and screw like bunnies.

the specific problem we're discussing here is the common mode of expression women use to show their immaturity ... using the un-Constitutional laws (men are NOT equal before the law) that we have allowed to be enacted.

most women want 'unconditional' love ... but there isn't a one of them willing to return it 'unconditionally'.

    Fine Line Between.......

There is fine line between LOVE AND HATE  , Like dancing on a razor edge.........But I have to say that I have seen many women get the wrong end of the deal.......Spouses that are DEADBEAT Fathers and much more. We have a Friend who was married to a lawyer and when He Split with his sexy younger Co-worker he kept tying things up in court to the point that Our friend could no longer keep paying for her Lawyer, She ended up having to sell her house (that was bought when she was married to him) that she was living with THEIR children and He never paid a Penny of back support.......I think the knife can cut both ways.......But when some want out and breaks their Vows Or promise they took then that person should forfeit what is "Joined Property" unless they do it the right way and File First for Divorce, or come clean with their partner and say it is over. Then I think that you would see the Laws working for both sides a lot better, More men Cheat then Women ....BUT they are catching up fast according to the latest poll :pp

All of my married friends tell me how "smart" I am.....that says something. I think before a man does something foolish, like consider marrying the woman he's currently dating,(as opposed to the woman of his dreams) he needs to take a deep breath, look around at all that he owns, and ask himself,"is she worth giving all of this up for?" If the answer is yes, then there shouldn't be any gnashing of teeth when it actually happens. Dan

Greetings and salutations from your friendly neighborhood divorce attorney!

Friend of mine lost his '70 Stage One and '70 GSX in his divorce (no I did not represent him). Just remember boys and girls, for every nasty piece of sh*t lawyer there is client. And by the way, if you traded jobs with me, you'd be begging for your gig back within a week!
