Wanted to buy: Nice 69 gs grille

I would like to buy a 69 gs grille in nice condition, if someone has one they want to part with. I don't think I need the surround, just the grille.

Yes, I know Frank is reproducing them for about $600, and if I can't get a good used one for less, than I guess I will be buying a new one.

I have a cracked but other wise intact grille that I'm willing to part with cheap. Thing is, I offered it to rtabish about a year ago pending my getting around to pulling it off my car (I bought a new one off Frank). Don't know if he still needs it or not.

FYI, might get it pulled in the next two months.

Let me know Steve, if it isn't cracked too bad I could probably send it out and have it repaired.

Once the car gets here that I just bought I will check the grille in that one to see how bad it is.

I do believe I have a very nice one stashed back. If you can hold out for a day, I will pull it out for you when I am back.
I bought one just in case, and since the 68 is now in Bruces Garage, I wont need it any longer.

No secret squirrel stuff John. I bought a 69 GS last week and need a grille. I was discussing the car with Marco and George (and others) over the last month or so and picking their brains, so they knew of the car and offered many words of wisdom. Not sure I actually followed any of the advice i got or not, but hey, what are friends for if not to pick through what they tell you and only hear the parts you want to hear? :laugh: :TU:
