WANTED: spare tire coverboard retainer

anyone have one of these retainers (years 69-72) to sell , for my 72 gs ?
most of them were probably tossed aside & forgotten about .

If we are talking about the "round" wingnut that holds the cover/board on top of the spare, I could use one or two (if there are any left for sale). Obviously, this is Gerry's post, but after he finds one, I would like to be next in line for the chance to purchase at least one, and hopefully two. Pictures would be great!! How much do these gor for?

 

I have two complete setups, and one complete jack setup also if anyone is interested.

It sounds lika a couple of guys have them available (Gary "greatscat" and Phil "70 gsconvt"), and I'm assuming they are waiting on you to reply to their request of wanting to see a picture. As I said a couple of days ago, I would like to buy one, and hopefully two of them, but you are first in line since it is your thread.

Gary - How many are you willing to sell, and how much each?

Phil - Will you sell the retainer seperately? If so, how much?
