I am looking for a shorty console in good condition I dont care what color as I can die it whatever color I end up desiding to go with ....I have bid on a few on ebay but no luck as of yet anyway if someone is willing to part with one I would be very interested in it also if not for money I have a lot of stuff to trade if interested thank you

These consoles were common in the Riv's , '70-'73. Might try the boneyards that have the older Rivs listed/shown. I can't help you in pointing to anyone in particular.
Wow wow didnt know there was multiple types ou: I am wanting a console to go between the bucket seats in a 70-72 skylark with automatic on the colume it does not have to be original to that year I just want something to work and store items in push button or tri shield it does not matter to me I just want something to work thanks for the education (I love this site)
Well I do not have a complete console, but here is a link to a pushbutton console lid I restored on Ebay starting out at $35 with no reserve. In case you don't find a complete one this top would be a great start.
Is that your push button console currently on Ebay?I thought about trying to buy it as a replacement for my 65 top which of course has the Emblem instead of the button.My top is not real good but the base and chrome is nice.That one on Ebays looks nice,have it on my watch list and will see where it goes.
Yes it is mine. It is a really nice top. I restored it a few months back. Its all there and they are hard to find in good condition and up for sale. You would be throughly happy with it.
This is the one he wants or the push-button style. I believe the lids are still available for $80-90 from Cars. Have to be patient. I have seen them on Ebay and posted there here on the Ebay section.
I bought a repro top from CARS. They are not bad, could be better but anything is better than nothing. I think I paid around $110 shipped for the repro top, pushbutton style.
