its a 64 riviera with the 3.23 ratio open diff. I'm sorry for not posting more info but I was not aware of the differing carrier sizing. Is there anything else I need to know when looking for this? as far as the ratio i'm not picky but a 3.42 would be nice.
Keep beating the bushes. Something may turn up. My advice is: look for a complete rear and swap the whole thing, not just the gears. Changing gears is an art form and few can do it correctly. If the rear hasn't been messed with since Buick built it, then it will still be OK. Are you an ROA member?
