WANTED: NOS Passenger-side Quarter Panel, 70 LeSabre/Wildcat

Someone...Somewhere...has the quarter panel I need. Maybe it's in a barn or in the back of a Buick parts department, but it's out there.

1970 LeSabre or Wildact - NOS Right (passenger) Side Quarter Panel, with "sail" piece that extends into the roof. Must be for a 2-Door car, 4-Door is different.

I would consider a perfect, rust free used piece if I can't locate an NOS unit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Dan:

Not yet. I decided that I'd wait until I had all of the pieces before I rip the car apart. At least this way I can still drive it until the body work gets started. The passenger side quarter is actually the last part I need - I've found all of the other body panels.

I've also had some great luck finding most of the chrome I need. Some came from board members here, some from e-bay. I even located an NOS front bumper emblem, still in the original box, from a vendor who buys old stock from dealerships. It was quite a score! Those emblems just don't exist anymore.

So, here I am, looking for my last body panel...you don't have another one in your garage do you? :grin:

BTW - I read your other post on the floor sheetmetal. I just may take you up on your offer and give you a call.

Crap, I saw one of these at the yard about a month ago, and it looked rust free. I'll keep my eyes open.

I went to look at that car - TWICE! It's was located about 2 hours from my house, and I talked with the guy many times on the phone. He wouldn't budge on the price and it was completed rusted out, so I walked away. Can't believe someone paid 5 bills for that car! He sold it once before and the person never showed to get the car.

Someone has a 1969 Electra Quarter on e-bay. Not the piece I need, but it may be proof that my quarter panel is out there somewhere!

Keep looking because I do believe you will find it. I found a nos quarter panel for a 65 malibu 4 wagon I was looking for just a month ago.
Man does it fit good.

There is a 70 2 door Lesabre in a local yard that the sheet metal is good. The trunk and hood has some bondo from dents. Let me know if you need anything.

I have to tell you: I ended up finding the other side of that Nos 65 Malibu 4-dr.quarter panel. So now this project has 2 Nos quarters.
I found it in Binghamton,NY.

I've been looking for quite a while now - even placed an ad in the Buick Bugle. I just keep hoping that someone will respond. So far, all I've found is used quarters that need to be cut off of cars in a yard. I have NOS pieces for all of the other body panels - really want an NOS quarter.

Can't believe that you found another NOS Chevy quarter! How did you find it? Could I be doing something different? Any suggestions?
