WANTED: Nailhead Drivetrain

Greetings All !!! I'm looking for a 401 or 425 drivetrain that I can
slip into my 57 Buick Special. I will buy rust outs or wrecked vehicles
to get the drivetrain if needed !!

Bob this is what you need. it has a complete drivetrain and you can drive it to try it out. im in ne ohio only about 3 hrs from you.

Are You Just Looking For Drivetrain Or Trans Or Frame And All?

 

I'd like to get a motor/transmission together but will take motor
only if necessary !!

Bob id sell just the motor from the electra then sell the body to the demo guys.

 

I have a choice of 4. All in cars & running. A couple can even be driven. Three are '64 Rivs. with 425's & one is a '65 Riv. GS w/o dual quads. $1750.00 & $2500.00. I live in Fairfield County Ct.

 

You cant put a 64 and up motor in the older cars without changing the crank.
The dynaflow engines are different from the Turbo trans engines.

Look for a 60-63 401, as it will make an easy swap
