Still looking for the right GS convertible. Year, color, options, engine, trans are not issues.

I would prefer bucket seats and air, but definitely don't want any projects or restorations.

Preferably in the West as I will want to see it in person, but other parts of the country are not out of the question.

Don't want a show car or a trailer queen - just a nice driver that may need a few things but not body work. Ready to buy the right car. Willing to buy from a board member, private party or dealer.

    Post here or PM me.

    Thanks

I have been holding out for a GS for a long time. I did see your post on the
'67 and looked at it long and hard, but a GS or nothing.

Thanks for thinking of me though. :beer

That one is a major resto project. Has been for sale for over a year all over the net.

I am looking for a decent driver type.

    Thanks though.

    Dukec,

I know of a very nice '65 Skylark GS for sale on Whidbey Island. It isn't perfect but it does have air and buckets. It is sierra beige with a white top. If I remember right, it had a white interior. It is far from being a project car but it isn't perfect. I seem to remember that it had no visible rust and the taillights were very nice. I think it had a Special front bumper. He wanted around $15K I think. I have lusted in my heart for this car but I have no money and no room for it. If you are interested, I'll look up his phone number.

    Hi all

Thanks to the many who have sent info regarding cars that they have seen for sale or who have cars for sale. I am still looking but have now determined that I need to refine the search.

I am looking for a nice driver class '65 to '67 GS Convertible. I want bucket seats and a console. The more options the better. No body work please.

If you know of anything or see anything please pass it along.

    regards

And what Duke was too nice to mention is that he looked at the car on Whidbey Island mentioned it above, and it probably isn't worth half of what the owner wants........

I am still working on the "one" for you Duke!

    Tom:

Thanks for the link - Scott's car is my dream car. Don't tell him but I have a picture of it as the background on my desktop on this computer!

Even though he lowered the price it is still out of my range when you figure in the shipping fee on top of the price.

    Chris

    Thanks buddy.
