I need a pair of front flexible brake line brackets for disc brakes for a 69 Skylark. I hope someone has a set, as I need them within the next couple of weeks for assembling my front end/suspension. Thanks!

    Check this site: www.buickperformance.com
George N. may have mentioned here that the drum brake brackets can be easily made to fit with a Dremel tool. Read it somewhere, pretty sure you'll find it.

    Steve is correct.
You can easily modify your drum brake brkts to discs. Use a
dremel tool or a small triangular file. Should not take more than 5 minutes per side.

OK guys thanks! I looked on your site George, and I see where you show how it's done. I appreciate it!

I thought they were readily available from your local parts store - or on order at NAPA.

before you get out the grinder check the fit of the new brake hose in your bracket---it may fit----but--the disc brake brackets are thicker (double folded-over thickness vs. single--SEE PIC BELOW) than the drum brake brackets. You can't really see the folded-over area as it is on top of the bracket--however you can see the edge of the folded-over metal at the bottom on each bracket (rounded off edge).

I have a pair of the disc brake brackets. We went through this a couple months ago---I took the pair of brackets(which were off a disc brake car) to a O'Reilly's and got a new DISC BRAKE rubber hose and it fit into the hole perfectly.

I have a couple pair of these, bead blasted and painted (if you want them painted).

Your main concern should be the thickness of the non-folded drum bracket that you have---maybe there is a solution to that that I am not thinking of but check it first.

Maybe the 68-69 brackets are "single-thickness" regardless of drum or disc--but you better check your new rubber brake hoses against the bracket as the hoses may be generic now to fit the later, thicker brackets.
