:Comp: I have seen the ones listed here that are older adds, but I am looking for a project car. Prefer a 4-spd with buckets. I would like it to be as complete as possible but doesn't need to be running or driveable. I can do anything on a car and am not afraid of working it to make it right again. Thank you. John
John.....i bought this car recently for parts to convert a car from 4-speed to automatic and buckets....ended up finding a car already done, so.....i was gonna part this out but it should be put back together. 70 GS 455 Automatic-numbers matching engine w/70 BA trans, not numbers matching. Highly optioned-p-windows, power bucket seat, tilt, air, WG wheels...still has the factory-original paint, Sherwood Green Car has been in a garage for 20-plus years...very complete, but needs pass. side quarter, door and fender....trunk also needs work. Very complete car that is worth saving....$4500.00 firm, it's what i gave the guy.....i have more pics if interested.Make no mistake, it's a very big project that will require skills-i cringe every time i walk past it!! Call or email.....thanks Chris 740-448-1070
I'll put it this way, I just picked up a spare body shell to fix it, it is a clean title 1970 GS455, Bamboo Cream, burnished saddle int, brown top. I have the punch card with all the option codes, owners manual, protect plate and other paperwork too
Kurt, The only thing it has that I'm looking for is the engine. Not looking at column shift or bench seats. I am looking for an investment grade car when completed and it needs to be stock as built originally. Thank you for the response though. John
no problem, I'm just starting the frame off resto on it, it'll be bone stock when I'm done but this car will never be worth more than I'm going to put into it. Good luck in your hunt, there are cars still out there
Hey not so fast! We have to put that grill back in my green car that it came out of... Then we have to put it back in my convertible which it came out of originally! I do have 2 other cars it can go into for a while as well. That sucker sure got around!
Michael, Sorry for the delayed response. I am not actually looking for a 'vert but I did find another one that I have now purchased and have in transit. Thank you everyone for the help.
