I have a '70 real big block 'GS' GSX clone that I might sell in the spring time next year. I just had the car stripped to bare metal and painted,(base coat/clear) wet sanded, and buffed. The engine was rebuilt when I bought it with very little hours on it. The engine is not numbers matching but did come from a '70 riviera. The engine is above stock with roller rockers, headers, 2-1/2 exhaust w/ 'H' pipe and three chamber flowmasters. The trans is reverse valve body and shifts firm. The rear is from a chevy [12 bolt] with 4.88's and new axels. The drivetrain alone is 10k, (eng, trans, rear, suspension). I have pictures of the car that I need to download. The rear quarters were re-done, a new trunk pan and patch panels on the front lower outer fenders. The only rust on the car is the drivers floor by the foot area [not to bad, I used rust stop on the floors and soon will use some body seam sealer to close the narrow strips of rust through.] The frame is solid and bumpers are older original that look good but not mirror show quality. The windshield is new with all new weather stripping and rugs/underlayment, new back package tray, new front door panels, new front bucket seat skins. I'm still working on getting the interior back in the car at the moment. The hood tack is new aftermarket from POSTON Buick. This car has crank windows and NO A/C. The heater is bypassed and I'm not sure if it works or not yet. ~~~~~~~~~Bob
Some things are worth waiting for! Goodluck in finding a correct looking GSX clone. Who knows, maybe you'll be ready for one in the spring next year. I forgot to mention that my GSX is Saturn Yellow with semi-gloss stripes and black interior. Maybe your friend might buy a White one and you can get the yellow one.:3gears:

Chris, With the market being down on cars i'am not selling just buying. I get more attention with this car people just love the car when i'am at car shows. I was at one last weekend with 500 cars and several people came up to me and said i should get the best peoples award but its not a judged event.
Randy, whenever I take out the black GSX I bought from you I have to practically beat people off with a stick. I did a burn out with it on the main road in front of my house about a month ago. despite the traffic, the black tire marks are still as visible as if I'd done it yesterday. Another thing good about a black GSX is that you can't see all the rubber on the lower fenders. :TU:
If your friend wants my car, I'll sell it if he's ready. My cars interior needs to go back in, not a big deal and the new front drivers skins are in a box and the door panels also.
