For quite some time now I'm looking for the right '68 Riviera but for some reason all I find are '66, '67, '69 and so on. What's with the '68? It's not that I'm looking for just a '68 but I do have my preferences. Has to got the bucket seats (not negotiable), AC (also not negotiable), good driver quality car (no rust, good paint, good interior, good engine). Also not a black or white car. I know the more wishes you have the harder they are to fulfill. It's that I still have something to drive otherwise I wouldn't have all those demands. bummer you couldn't use a 69, there is a very restorable body shell on frame in local yard here (southern NM) that could be gotten for well under $1000. $500-$600 cash could probably get it. Drivetrain and most of suspension is gone, but the car is solid.

Wow, thanks guys. Been away for a couple of days (a week) so I couldn't check the board but I'm pleased with all you're replies. Going to check them out and see if there's anything interesting it it for me. I'm not interested in a car that needs new paint, interior or engine rebuild.
