Wanted: restorable '65 Skylark GS

I *think* I need just one more '65... lol

So I'm looking for a restorable '65 Skylark GS without any major rust issues. I'd greatly prefer cars located in CA, NV, AZ, NM, CO, TX, & UT - since I can drive there in 1 day to pick up...

I'm only in the "tire-kicking" stage right now, but I'd like to see what's out there before I get very serious...

This guy is selling 2 project 65 GS's / Parts cars in Oregon. Both look like tons of work. They've been listed for about a year and are now almost 1/2 of what he was originally asking.

A Skylark or GS? I have a '65 Skylark,2 dr. hrdtp. with a fresh 455 and th400, that I'll be selling to add some cash to my racecar fund. It needs alittle body work, and interior, and pretty much all the weatherstripping needs to be replaced. I've done alot to it, front discs, posi, new springs, shocks, and much more. PM me if you're interested, I can give you more details, and pics. I also have a '64 that I'd consider throwing in as a package deal...

How about a 65' gran sport 4-speed project hardtop? It needs another 2dr. for parts,mostly for interior parts,etc.etc. The body is rustfree,and very staight.good floors,it is a Colo.car.Trans,shifter,bellhousing is all there.The engine is a bare block with bare heads,it needs all the rest ofthe parts! Asking $3500. located in NW Kansas
