Wanted 1971 W-30 Intake

    Hello Everybody,
    I am looking for a correct 1971 W-30 Aluminum Intake,any help would be appreciated.

    Just my opinion, and that's not worth much,but......

    John,
    if you can come up with an oem intake, I think you will be much happier than
    you will with the repro, even if it means spending a few more dollar's.

    The repro I bought was made oversea's, and the quality of the aluminum was
    very POOR :ball: Lot's of contaminent's were in the casting, and lot's of
    porosity. The port's were very rough and crude/improperly shaped, port's
    didn't line up the best, had to helicoil two of the carb bolt hole's after trying
    to tighten down the carb the first time.

    Like I said, you may have to spend a few more buck's for an original, but I
    think it will be money well spent :3gears:

    An original 1971 W30 intake? Goy any idea how rare that is? If you do come across one, take out a mortgage. They are VERY expensive.

    Is your car a real 1971 W30 with H heads? If so, you do know how rare that is.

    I can get you a repro, but like Tom said ....

    a year ago I had a guy trying to sell me a real 71 W-30 intake. he wanted $700. I didn't buy it and no, I don't have his contact info :)

    1200 -- 1500 for a nice one. Ron Memmer or Bob Anderson.
