I'm interested in finding a set of good hood springs for a '66 Wildcat. The ones on my car are weak and allow the hood to close unexpectedly which can be annoying (and dangerous) when I am under there working. I have seen reproduction springs for A-body cars but I don't know if they will work on the heavier full sized hood. I would appreciate any advice regarding replacement / reproduction parts which may work. Thanks!
