    Howdy V-8 Buick members,

Thanks in part to the recommendations to be found here, I ordered a hardened 200-4R transmission from CK Performance http://ckperformance.com/. The order went in about mid-June and the tranny arrived last week here in California. So it took CK and his crew 12 weeks, a bit under 3 months, to get the transmission completed and delivered. That should give anyone thinking about having CK build their tranny an idea of how long it takes.

How does the transmission work? Well, don't really know. The engine is behind schedule, so it will be a while before I find out how the whole package works together . . . . . . unless . . .

Hey, does anyone know if Fred Flintstone used a 200-4R and if so how he hooked it up?

    Cheers, Edouard :beer

In theory, with the right spacers, you could hook some pedals up to the input shaft and test it out. Of course you'd have to sit sideways and cut holes in your floors.
