In case you missed it, or you saw it without realizing the magnitude of the moment.....When Stan Zerucha and I ran each other in the final round of Quick-16 at Norwalk.....It was the FIRST EVER, SIDE-BY-SIDE, 8-SECOND GS RUN IN HISTORY!! That's right. At no time prior, have two GS-bodied cars run in the eight-second zone on the same run. Stan and I have come close to accomplishing the feat a few times this year, but it always seemed like one of us would catch an "8" when the other was close, but not close enough. Well, WE MADE HISTORY AT NORWALK!! Here are the pictures taken right after the historic event. I don't have any pictures of us leaving the line or of the scoreboards showing my 8.96 and Stan's 8.82. If anyone got shots of those and can e-mail them over to me, I'd appreciate it and I'll post them here.
