Did all 65 - 72 wagon/sportwagons have larger drum brakes on the rear? Do they cause the width to be wider? I am asking so I know if I can put a 70wagon rear end under my 70 GS with no "oops"......and so I'm a little smarter at the end of the day! :laugh: - Bill
the extra 1/2" was made up with a special brake backing plate. the rears should be the same width for sportwagon and skylark from 64-69, don't know about later years.
