vp trans wiring

    how to wire converter thru stoplight switch and toggle switch. need the brake light pat for when stopped in gear and push button switch for hard accelerations

    It's very simple. Apply 12 volts to the connection at the transmission, you get high stall. Take it away, low stall. The brake light switch has 2 wires, one has voltage all the time, the other, only when you step on the brake. Test each wire with a test light or voltmeter. If you wire the transmission to the wire that has voltage only with the brake applied, it will activate hi stall any time you apply the brake. You can also wire a separate switch from a 12 volt source to the transmission. One wire to 12 volts (fuse block), the other end of the switch, to the transmission. You can use a momentary switch for this, that way, you can simply push it for hi stall and let it go when you want low stall.
