I bought a '72 Skylark this weekend and it has the a very dark brown colored vinyl top that appears to be original (car has 25k miles).

What is the name for a vinyl top that is code "U" ?

    Still no "U" code

    Scott,
Thanks for the link, but that is the same list that I currently have in some of my books for the 1972 Buick, which have the letters: A, B, D, F, G, H, T

But notice there is still no listing for U

anyone have a book that will tell me the name/color for code U ?

    Thanks

    Dark Covert?
The "u" code is another one of those Buick mysteries. We've never found the answer to this one.
