I have a hole in the drivers seat on the outside seatback. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to repair this? I thought about a new seat cover but the other 3 seats are in excellent condition and I thought the new cover would not match the wear on those. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul
There is a chain that drives around called Dr.Vinyl. Never tried them but maybe look them up and see if they are in your area.
Before you fix it....you need to determine the cause. If it is broken seat spring or frame part...you will have to disassemble the seat. I have seen this numerous times and there are 4 springs 2 on each side that support the seat back....many times they break and then end up poking through the foam or act as a sharp rubbing point eventually eating away the foam.
