While it's not a Buick I just parted out an original `70 Lemans convertible that was red with a red interior and a while top and the vinyl on top of the windshield frame was red, interior color. There is another `70 Lemans convert in the building where my shop is that's also original. I'll try to remember to look at it this afternoon and see what that one has.
Well now I'm questioning it. Mine is black but my interior is white with black trim. I retract my answer and defer to those who have seen other colors. Sorry; eating my words now. Patrick
White interiors got plenty of black parts...dashpad, kickpanels, carpet, etc....so the black was used on top of the windshield frame. On other colors, the vinyl on top of the windshield frame matched the color....blue, red, etc.
