If I remember right that unit was sold with the Marantz name but was actually made by a company called Hammond in Japan . I was a Marantz dealer in the 70's and remember that unit and as I recall it did not sell well based on it's gold color and at that time Pioneer was kicking everyones butt in the car stereo field .
