pair of 2-piece Hooker Super Competition Headers (the kind that wrap around the outside of the frame rail) 2 inch with 3.5 inch collector $350 plus shipping
Yes, I still have them on my '69, a previous owner had installed them before I bought the car in 1978. And they make an awesome sound, especially if you have a lumpy cam and you're not running mufflers. My engine has a Window Rattler, and with the headers, firing up the engine inside a garage would make stuff on shelves start falling off! OldSchool is offering a good deal on these, IMO. They seem to be in good shape, at a good price. I'd buy them if I didn't already have some.
Don't want to squelch a sale but I would say not a chance unless you are handy with a welder. Those really are the old-school "Super Competition" headers. Back in the 70's I tried to fit them on a '67 GS400 and the driver side went on with massive pipe smashing and the passenger side didn't even want to hear about it. I know the headers are only listed for 68-72 but back then Kenne-Bell was way behind making headers so I figured I'd give them a try. Went out and bought a '69 GS just so I could use the headers. Nothing wrong with the headers themselves on the right car.
