    Recheck the number I suspect the g and the k at least are incorrect. The 2 suggests it is a 1972 while the 67 suggests it is a convert.

    So that's a 1972 GS 350 convertible, 1 of 852 GS convertibles produced for modelyear 1972.

    4 = Buick

    G = GS

    67 = Convertible

    K = 350, 4 barrel, dual exhaust

    2 = Modelyear 1972

    H = Flint, Michigan factory

    187254 = Flint production number, started that modelyear at 100 001

    I don't have the different numbers for cars equiped with a 350 or 455 engine, but this is the convertible production total.

    Jim -

    GM changed the VIN structure in 1972 (although Fisher didn't change anything on the cowl tags :rolleyes: ). The 2nd alpha character is the model and the fifth alpha character is the engine code. Makes those stage1s easier to identify 1972-1974 :TU:
