Guys, I need some help. I've lost all the paperwork on my '78 Skylark and need to get it on the road. I am having trouble determining which number is correct for the VIN. There is one on the driver side of the dashboard and one on the door jamb maybe on the cowl tag too. I just want to make sure I use the right one for the DMV. I feel like such an idiot.
The number the DMV will want is the one the the driver's side of the dash board. You can take that number with you to the DMV with you ID and get a reprint of your title (fee of corse).
