Vibration and blow by (engine tear down)

    WOW! I totally missed all these post some how! That looks great! You should be very proud of your self! How is the coolant temps? Those pulleys you have are going to slow the pump rpm down and might cause high temps especially at idle.

    Nice job on the heads.

    Yes Full load AFR should be in the low to mid 13s. Look at the spark plugs after a hard run and check the coloring.

    With the TA high flow water pump i never had thermal problems. Installed is a 160 F thermostat and engine idles at 170-180 F, cruise 170 F and highway 170-180 F
    Next Friday i will receive the new cams for the acceleration pump and the Power valve for the Avenger. I would try to rich up the mixture at cruise. Never tried WOT...
    In the attachment is a picture from the spark plug which shows also a to lean combustion? and my new valve covers with wire separators :)
