right around this time of year i start focusing on Nats and preparing list of parts for the cars. i end up writing to a whole bunch of vendors inquiring if they will be attending show and if i can pre-order for pickup at BG. no shipping costs means more to spend on parts- especially on smalls/inexpensive pieces that become relatively expensive when shipping costs added. But is there already a place where attending vendors will be listed for the Nats so i don't have to call/write to them all? if not, for those running the Nats, it might be a good idea to create advert. my experience is that the vendors are more than happy to load up their trailers with "sold" or spoke for parts, especially the ones that are high $$, large, heavy, or low demand. C.A.R.S. brings a lot of parts out but every year i place a special order with them for delivery at BG for something that they would most likely not have brought or only in limited amounts. last time was a front spoiler and baffle, which would have cost a lot to ship and I doubt C.A.R.S. would have otherwise brought more than 2 or 3 to BG. hector
Everything is on the Nats Facebook page. Yes I know not everyone does Facebook but it's hard to link and post on every page out there the updates for the event including vendors, sponsors, etc. 100 percent C.A.R.S. is coming and he posted not long ago asking what did people want him to bring to save on shipping.
