I simply can't find my engine I.D. It's a 72 skylark but i was told that the motor was out of a riviera,(1970-1972). Ive checked the relief between the spark plugs and thats where i heard it'd be. Please help.
Did you check the block where the dipstick hole is? It should be a two-letter code (ie: TA, TS, SF, etc) If you can find a casting number, then that will help a lot with the year.
