I have a tick from the drivers side I find out its the push rod it is not reaching the rocker. could it be a colapsed lifter ? I had just replaced all of them, so there are all new. *new lifters *new push rods i inspected the rocker arm and it is'nt that worn. does this reasoning sound right? It drives fine no problems but I worry that the tick will hurt the engine. I will pull the intake maifold fri, and inspect the pushrod. help me....
There has been stories about lifters being crap right out of the box. So I wouldn't count that out. Also check to see if the pushrod is bent a little bit. Also that the valve is coming up all the way. Check it's hieght with the others. If the valve is bent, or just sticking, it won't come up all the way.... Good luck
