I'll want to put new valve stem seals on my street car when I pull it down,TA have the plain rubber, or rubber with teflon, and the teflon race type
Are the rubber and teflon a composite?
    Which are recommended?
What are the pros and cons of the them?
Are there any better than the TA seals?

Check out Competition Products valve seals.

For a street car, the Viton style seal would work good.

I like their new (relatively) VTO seals!! These are great if you have performance springs and need the addition ID clearance. I like the fact that these seals don't have the little ring on the top (like the above listed Teflon seals)...they let a very small amount of oil thru to keep the stems lubed. Use part #SC540 for the 3/8" valve stems.

They list a guide cutting tool on that page too...you can use your drill and do them yourself!!:TU:

I carry and use seals from engine tech they work great on a street engine if you have to use teflon i take the small end of a reamer and give them a little clearance also warm them up in warm water makes installing them a lot easyer.
