What is the valve spring install height suppose to be on a455 head i have a set that are at 1.900 with a stem height of 2.100 any one know.Its been a long time since i did a set of these. mike
It depends on what springsyou are using. The tip height should be 2.08 to 2.10, the stg-1 style spring has a 1.89 installed height, most of the dual spring set ups use an installed height of 1.80 to 1.82. Jim Burek
