There is a rocker or something chattering on my brothers '66 Catalina but we can't figure out which one it is or exactly which part it is. We took his car to a family get together in spartanburg (200 miles) and the whole way down it was making a funny noise (chattering) I thought it was a lean condition at first because we had changed the jets the night before but the spark plugs read good and it didn't make a difference putting the old ones back in. When I had switched the jets my cousin said he thought he heard some valve noises so when we got back home I tried to locate were the sound was coming from( the next day). It seemed to be coming from the passenger side valve cover so I took it off and started it up. I then narrowed it down to the front two cylinders, by then the oil had warmed up alittle and one of the rockers is shooting streams oil out of it whenever it comes up. This is the first time I have done anything with valves so I don't exactly know what it or I should or shouldn't do . What would ya'll try if it were your engine? Also the vacuum is varying about a half of a psi at idle.

I just took out the pushrod on the valve that I thought was making the noise and it looks fine if that helps any
