What is the value of a 4 note horn setup? Not looking to sell it right now but I am trying to see what would be better to do with a '69 riviera we have- part it or try and sell it whole.

    Thanks,

If all horns are in good condition cosmetically, functionally sound (no pun intended), and you have original fasteners as well as the wiring harness I've seen them go in the range of $200-$275. Condition is important. Complete sets of these are getting tough to come by and if yours are from a 69 they fit 66-70 Rivs which is a nice range (read bigger buying pool). Keep in mind this is just one opinion and sales can be fickle taking longer than expected or sell immediately. I'd be surprised if you had too much trouble getting $250 assuming all is good as mentioned above. It would not surprise me to get $300 on a good day or perhaps a bit less on a bad day. Of course depending how they are marketed can affect price as well. I haven't been seeing many of these come up for sale and actually I see more of the long trumpet horns for the 1st gen Rivs sale more often and those can go for $400-$700.

Hopefully someone else will chime in with another opinion.

I got a deal on my set at a bit over $100, they were out of a 69 Riv but I did not get the complete harness (did get most of it) also did not get the reinforcement plate for the hood

Selling to a restorer they are worth a few hundred. Selling to a regular guy they're worth about $20 per horn and another $20 for the wiring.

I've sold a couple of sets, and I think they went for around $120 on ebay. This was about 5-6 years ago.
