Trying to figure out what I've got here, I don't know Buick's but I've managed to have one fall in my lap.

It's a 66 that has had a 401 nailhead swapped in for the stock v6, the quarters are rusted through in the rear, the upper sheet metal looks like it is solid with the original paint and primer worn off, Top is gone, and floor is probably rusting through under the carpet. It looks like a solid project for someone not afraid of sheet metal work, but it is wasting away in the weeds at the moment. It's got a title.

I can't really take it on as a project so I'm either going to part it out or sell it whole but I'm trying to figure out what its value is. The nailhead was rebuilt in the 90's and has nearly no miles on it since. According to the previous owner who is a friend around a hundred, because of the other work that needed to happen. It hasn't been started in years.

Anyone know what this might be worth as a project or parts car?

Without pictures it is too hard to say. With the exception of the floor and trunk, none of the sheet metal is being reproduced so it all depends on if the sheet metal is repairable. The frame tends to rust right behind the front wheels and inside the convertible brace along the perimeter. Top and interior is being reproduced. If it runs and drives in rough shape maybe 2-4 k, if not 1-2k.
I could be way off without pictures. Location?

If this is it...its not a 66. How about a 65 Skylark....I would check the frame, especially since its been sitting for many years...with no top? Price is getting better (was $3,500), although in my opinion, $2,500 is still too high.

Yep it's a 64 I only got the title and realized it. It was a friends project that he lost steam and money on in the late 90's.

Frame looks good, after a quick look over as it got pulled up onto a roll back.

Somewhere around 1 to 2k looks like tops from what I can find.

Wonder if I should pull the 401 out and sell it by itself...
