I am installing vacuum pump from Right Stuff Detailing. unit looks ok but I have a few questions. does the pump need to be upright or can it be mounted on an angle. I will try mounting on drivers fender well but would rather mount the pump in the trunk . I have read that the pump is very noisy. trunk mount would be much quitter if it were enclosed in a 3 sided box with insulation.,my exhaust may over power the pump noise anyway. Please give me some input. Thanks.Ken
getting ready to install vac pump in left fender. lots of room behind headlites.tried pump,itis a bit noisey but top of MT headers and flowmasters I would not be able hear the pump. the pump gives me 18" of vacuum at6500ft. much better than11" I have now. Ken
