vaccuum line routing

Would anyone happen to have the vaccuum routing for the '73 with A/C cars?

I know the routing from the carb to the therm switch and then dist. Also know about the trans hard/soft line off the back of the intake. It's all the other routing that I need.

    Such as:
The line that runs from the heater control valve goes where?

What's the 4 way vaccuum port mounted on the firewall (drivers side just next to the brake booster, behind the air cleaner) and where do the lines run to from there?

Any other vaccuum lines on the engine that I should be looking for on inspection?

    Electra with the 455-4.

I'll take whatever you got though. Just trying to trace vaccuum leaks and replace old rubber. It's normally not a problem but the last owner decided to cap off alot of lines by shoving screws in them and then letting it hang where it may. Now I have no idea where the lines go since they're either too long for some spots or too short for others.

My Olds diagrams aren't much help on the Buick and I can't afford a Buick FSM yet.

This might help. It's from the A-body book but might be enough there to get you started. I expect one of the two lines not completed on the drawing goes to the breather.
    Second one ??
Trouble reading it send me your e-mail & I'll resend.

Back to this again. '73 Electra 455-4 and Auto

There's a 4 way vacuum connector mounted on the firewall that's half disconnected.

Hose on the top runs to the rear of the carb. I'm guessing it's the "source"

Hose on the passenger side runs through the firewall around the heater box.

Hose to the bottom is capped off.

Hose to the drivers side is plugged. I'm thinking this once went to a vacuum canister of some sort.

From what I can tell this is the hose set that runs the climate controls. If someone can show me where the vacuum can should be and what it looks like I'd appreciate it. Also if anyone can tell me what the forth vacuum port runs to it would help greatly.

I need to get this all sorted while I do the heater so that I can make sure everything works before reassembly.

Tried those. They show the carb to vac can, vac can through firewall, some sort of vac assembly (I'm guessing the control unit), then on to the air door.

I'm seeing the diagrams on 1102 and 1104 for this info

The diagrams starting at 1284 show the vacuum adaptor and show carb in the left and output to the control unit from the top, but it doesn't show what connects to the other 2 ports.

Did some more playing the other day and still haven't figured this out. I'll include a sketch in the hopes it looks familiar to someone. It's mounted on the firewall behind the carb, slightly offset to the drivers side. The vacuum can is mounted just to the passenger side of it. The hvac control lines run out right above and to the passenger side of it.

Here's a pic of the actual unit. It's not super easy to see in this pic, which is why I did the sketch, but it shows the placement well. It's the black plastic piece mounted with 2 rust colored bolts in the center of the pic

Found it on 9B-139. Although it's alot clearer under the A body section on 9B-130

Bottom is capped and drivers side port is for cruise control if equipped.

Another diagram lists the drivers port as manifold vacuum. Maybe I'll use it as a source for a vac guage :Do No:

Long time coming but a quick question.

Over the course of the winter the heat is going to be used on this car every time out. Could I bypass the leaky and broken rats nest of vacuum hoses and plug the heater control valve directly into the carb port? Right now I'm not running any control valve and the heater hoses go straight from the water pump to the heater core.
