Maybe bringing up an old issue..... are there any plans making/selling board t- shirts? Would be a good one to gain some $$ for the board. Just a simple idea;
I know Jim has wanted to do stuff like caps, shirts, mugs, etc. But time to work on them is hard to find. I think it would a great way to help fund the board op costs. Should farm it out to someone with a bit of spare time on his/her hands. Heck, I even have www.rivperformace.com t-shirts in my closet.
I'd be in also. But none of this large or extra large crap!!o No: I'm talking man size stuff, 2, 3 and 4 X!!!:Brow: So i'm fat, who cares!!!!!!!!!:rant:
Glad to see i'm finally in the majority!!!!!! LOL horizontally challenged!!!:laugh: Wide shoulders and long arms!!!! Spit my coffee out on that one!!!:laugh:
Definitly agreed!! I'm thinking black or even white. As far as yellow? uzzled: I like girls!!!!! Even blue and gray shirts would be cool.
Wow, i'd actually be looking for a little boys large, or a mens small... haha, so i'm small, that's how i was built! can't lift the big stuff, but man, i can get plugs or injectors out of any car! and i do pull a good deal more than my weight. Small though, anthing larger and i look like a six year old in a dress.
Well it's obviously up to Jim but I have been responsible for doing t-shirts for our model car club several times. I work with a local shirt company that does all the work for our school district so I get decent pricing. And most of us that do models aren't exactly skinny, I've had shirt orders up to 5X for some of our guys. I'd be willing to do it but I would have to have some very clear-cut rules on orders and payments. I got burned a couple of times and I'm not doing it that way again. The best way to handle it is to decide on a logo and the one we have on the website has far too many colors to make it reasonable. The logo colors and shirt colors should be kept to a minimum as well. I did one shirt run that let everyone pick their favorite color (from a list) but that seems silly to me. My suggestion is black (it's slimming) or dark grey or dark blue. I know I'd wear one proudly.
