Will a turbobuicks.com V6 starter work on a V8? I would get a starter off 65specialconver but there is no shipping to Canada. Both seem to be priced very closely and I was wondering if the V6 starter would work.
yeah, it will work but, the V-6 stater was meant to spin six pistons with about 8:1 compression. Had to use one at the track once, burned it up before I made 6-7 passes. I highly recommend getting the right starter and saving some headaches.
