According to http://www.twoguysgarage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8474 and http://429mustangcougarinfo.50megs.com/new_page_6.htm the manual transmission equipped Quadrajet has a dashpot that prevents stalling, prevents over-lean deceleration, prevents oil being pulled past the rings, and occupies the same space as the air conditioning throttle solenoid. If I use my automatic-provisioned Quadrajet with a stick shift, do I risk damaging anything or am I only risking driveability symptoms?
there will be no issues drive the car youll be fine...................I really hate those shows..........
I used a 72 800 Qjet from a big car with an auto for several years on my 70 GS 350 4 speed and never once had any issues. Those guys are schmucks!!! I agree with Mike.
