I wonder if the chebby guys get as irked as we do over this? But then again, I haven't seen too many torquemonsters stuffed into chebbies either. Just once I'd like to see a Stage 1 chevelle.........even the hot rodders seem to be hooked on cheep smallblocks. Maybe I should make that my next project? :Brow: :bglasses:
yeah eric i had to reboot to, it was like looking at porn, or being blasted with pop-ups :eek2: that's how slow it got, but i managed to restart and clear it up

Ya'll is crackin me up!! Come on, we all had a friend like this, didn't we?? I had a friend that shows up at a friends house one day and his wheel well is glowing red. We thought he was pimpin with some red lights cause he had them in the interior...............No such thing!! It was a brake rotor glowing!! A week later we are all at the local cruisin place and his tire is SPARKING going around a turn! Turns out it was just the steel belts! STRANGE!! He had a 68 firebird with a Chebby 327 a few cars after this one! BEAUTIFUL car untill the first three wrecks, the he painted it himself and changed the color and put gold plastic Firebird stickers on the quarters. He just couldn't get it right ever and taste is just something you can't teach!!!! The crazy thing about it is that we were SO young and he was the type of kid who was lucky to have a ride to keep him at work and out of trouble! Never forget, he called the Pontiac, "The Bird" like it was a legend or something. Yeah, complete with the speakers just sitting on the rear deck, no need to bother trying to explain to him that speakers are designed to be in a sealed enclosure and that loud noise was just loud, not good!! I'm not a Ford fan but his first car was a Torino that his dad bought brand new. It was some special edition of the Starskey & Hutch vintage with nicely stitched two tone bucket seat interior, That poor car didn't stand a chance!! Had it pimped out in a matter of days with 50 extra lights and a cut up dash for the radio that sounded about half as good as what the factory put in it! Then the wrecks started! Not a bad driver if he could only pay attention long enough to drive! So tell the truth!! You had a friend or someone you knew JUST like this!! I think the big difference is that for some reason, todays youth seem to have BOATLOADS of money!!!! How can todays 16 year old kids have MORE cash to put into a car than some working adults?? Can it ALL be drug sales?? Ken
