I know this is probably the wrong forum; but, I want some input first. I ordered new shaft bushing caps for the upper control arm shafts from SS396. To my suprise they were different than what I was expecting. I called to ask them if they sent the wrong part; they were very helpful and explained that I have replacement shafts; therefore, the bolt and washer assembly they sent me will not work. The replacement shafts have a large nut and washer at the bushing compared to the bolt and washer.

Having said all that, should I try to find the original style or use the ones I have and get a larger compression washer and nut?

Does anyone have a set of originals for sale? (Hence the wrong forum).

    Thanks.

Isn't this a part that actually differed between Buick and Chevy originally?
