I just got through replacing the bushings in my front upper control arms. They are still out of car. When you turn the shaft of one of them it turns nice and smooth. The other turns but requires some effort and does not feel smooth. I was just wondering if when the weight of the car is put on suspension this will straighten itself out? The shaft end washers and nuts are not on yet So there are no restrictions.

I believe it's just the control arm itself. They get the crap beat out of them over the years and probably not completely straight. I had some trouble with them when I put mine together and put it in the press and squeezed it.. Then the shaft turned freely.:TU:

Well mine were pressed in but one is stiff for some reason. Hope the weight of ars fixes it.

Put a dab of Antisieze on the shaft where it goes thru the bushing- don't use grease- it'll turn into thick boogery crust over time.
