Uh, need a little help here. I've got the rear end out of my 68 Riv, so thought I'd go ahead and replace all the bushings. No problem on the lower control arms, got some stock replacements from NAPA. Track bar no problem (got PST polygraphites from a vendor of old Buick parts who sold me the PST items at over twice the price I could have gotten them for from PST. I thought I was getting some stock replacements). The problem is with the bushings for the upper control arm. All the parts store listings show the same bushing for the upper and lower control arms, which is correct for everything EXCEPT the Riv. Local suspension shop tried to locate upper bushings for me, no luck.

Anybody got any leads on where I should look for these bushings?

    Thanks much!

I show the upper control arm bushing shaft to be the same for 66-70 5,6,8 and 9000 series.

I assume but do not guarantee we are talking the same part.

    I Think

He's Asking About The Rear? That's How I Read It....try Cars, Inc In Neshanic New Jersey Or Kanter Auto-they Both Have Online Catalogues. It Seems To Me Like Cars Had That Once-i Replaced Mine, But Years Ago

Yeah Jim. The old Rivs only have ONE upper control arm and it is 2 pieces of swiss-cheese metal flanges that mate so you can change the pinion angle by simply lining up 2 different holes in the flanges.

I'm not sure of the part number.

Yeah, I know Yards, that's the one I'm talking about. The bushings for that single upper control arm are considerably longer than the bushings in the other arms, and I'm having a problem sourcing the upper bushings. But Corey gave me a couple of places to try. Actually, the old ones are in surprisingly good condition, but I thought as long as I have the rear end out of the car, I might as well replace all of the rubber stuff if possible. Another option would be to replace the bushings with aluminum turned to the right dimensions, but I really didn't want to stiffen up the suspension quite that much. Other options?

I see no upper bushings listed for the rear of a 68 E body . There is a RH lower which is the same as A, B and C body uppers for 68-70 and A bodies 71-72.
