Still working on the Cat. Today I primered the floorpan in preparation for paint and interior installation. I'm gonna bust my hump all week. My goal is assembly by next weekend. [IMG]

OK, I know this is a Rat and all, but I HATE off road looking wheelwells. I mean, let 'em get dirty, let em fill up with fried tire, but the heck with 38 year old nasty grungy undercoat!!! So me and the propane torch have been hard at work. What a crappy job! [IMG]

Hard to see, but I have the right side all done. All the trim is on. Left side should follow in a few days. [IMG]

Dan, I see that You and I think a lot alike about our cars. I did my wheel wells the same way. In fact I removed all the sound deadner and undercoating and 12 layers of paint. Just out of curiosity, I swept up all the paint that I removed and weighed it. It weighed 44 lb. I was amazed. Between the sound deadner and the paint and the undercoat, I removed about 400 lb. from the car. Of course ,now, it sounds like a garbage can when you slam a door.

Propane torch? Huh, I wouldn't have thought of that. Does that work better than a wire wheel on an electric drill? That's what I used. Not a lot of fun either way, I imagine.

    Sweet car, by the way.
